Don’t buy an inexpensive Sony DVD Player
I have the DVP-S360 and, after about a year, it started to freeze and skip (even on brand-new DVD’s). Google confirms this is a widespread problem.

Don’t Buy Sony Products
Sony products are garbage. A $200 player that breaks after 2 years, almost to the date, and costs $130-170 to repair is a joke. Sony should be ashamed of themselves.
