Don’t buy. Doesn’t work with new Blu-ray movies
This player doesn’t work with new movies that are coming out. You constantly have to update your player with the latest JRE (Java files) to play the latest movies.

Great Blu-Ray & Netflix but POOR DVD player
I have had this player for about one month now. The Blu-ray movies look amazing and the Netflix capabilities are awesome.

Wireless is a problem
I purchased the P-1600, received it, read the owner documentation on wireless, then ordered a Linksys USB wireless adapter from Amazon. IT CAN’T WORK!

Fast load time, no more frustration.
The drive opens within 1 second of pressing eject, and loads within about 5 seconds. This alone is worth the money.
