Samsung BD-P1200
The Samsung BD-P1200 looks great for a paper weight, as delivered and is incapable of playing Blue Ray Disk unless you go on line and download version 1.

I’ve had nothing but problems with this DVD player. Samsung FINALLY released a firmware upgrade for POTC: III but it froze my player after I downloaded the update.

Great picture and sound
I really like the product when it works. I had a problem upgrading the firmware. I followed the directions and burned a cd.

i hate this player and samsung support
this is the worst experience that i have ever had with any piece of electronic equipment. Samsung is incompetent and doesn’t care about service either.

Absolute Waste of Money
The Samsung BD-P1200 is an absolute waste of money. The latest blu-ray titles won’t play on it, so I had to do a firmware update.
